The legal control sector in the Labor Market Regulatory Authority organized a wide inspection campaign in the Capital Governorate in cooperation with a number of government agencies, which included a number of shops in Sasa’a Street, in addition to the inspection of street vendors. The campaign aimed to ensure compliance with the provisions of the law and the requirements and regulations in force in the Kingdom Bahrain, during which a number of illegal workers were arrested.
Executive Vice President of the Legal Control Sector at the Labor Market Regulatory Authority, Dr. Khaled Muhammad Abdul Rahman, said that the authority continues to cooperate with other authorities in implementing joint inspection campaigns to reduce the phenomenon of violating labor in the labor market, and violations of municipality, health and residency requirements, to maintain a working environment that enjoys a degree of High competitiveness and stability.
Dr. pointed out. Khaled Abdel Rahman, that the inspection campaign, which was organized on the evening of Friday, October 1, 2021, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior represented by the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, and the Capital Police Directorate, along with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, and the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, resulted in seizing A group of workers in violation of the laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Bahrain, related to the organization of the labor market, residence, road occupancy and others.
Abdul Rahman stressed that those who are caught during the inspection campaigns of workers violating the provisions of the law in the Kingdom of Bahrain are not issued work permits for them in the future, and therefore they cannot be turned into regular workers, their only option is to leave the country, while preventing them from returning to the Kingdom again.
