The launch date of the 32nd launch of the book fair in the Emirates

The book fair is scheduled to start in the UAE this month, under the auspices of the President of the UAE, "Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan", where the activities of the 32nd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair will be held from 22 to 28 May 2023.

Leading authors and thinkers from around the world will gather at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre for the inaugural Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.

The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi sponsors the Abu Dhabi Centre for the Arabic Language, which is responsible for organising the annual Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.

In keeping with the United Arab Emirates' proclamation of 2023 as the year of sustainability, this exhibition kicks off with fresh concepts carrying the notion of sustainability, which is key to the activities of the 32nd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair this year.

Abu Dhabi Book Fair is the leading literary event in the Arab world

This year's Abu Dhabi Book Fair is organised around five central themes, and it is expected to host prominent authors, publishers, personalities, and content creators.

  • Activities for kids and teenagers.
  • Professionally-targeted training courses.
  • Collaboration initiatives.

Multiple pillars, in addition to two stages for cultural events, make up the Abu Dhabi Book Fair's schedule. Cultural programmes, such as lectures, poetry evenings, and panel discussions, are delivered by a roster of well-known authors and intellectuals from the Arab world, and are open to all attendees. It's a chance for fans to meet their favourite writers, too.
