Dubai Airports has issued an important indicative statement for travelers, with the aim of alerting them that Dubai International Airport will be very crowded in the coming days and weeks.

The Corporation stated that, according to the sources of operations, about 1.8 million passengers will transit through Dubai Airport during the period between November 25 and the fifth of next December (11 days), with a traffic rate of about 164,000 passengers per day, and this is expected to reach congestion. It reached its peak on December 4, with an average traffic rate of more than 190,000 passengers per day. The Vice President of Operations at Dubai Airports, Issa Al Shamsi, said, "(Dubai Airports) is permanently working with more than 80 airlines and control authorities, as well as with all its commercial partners and partners in the service sector to ensure that travelers enjoy a safe and smooth experience at the airport. He added, "We strive to make the passengers' journeys during the next peak, comfortable and smooth as well, after they follow a few simple tips." In view of the changing requirements for travel globally after the “Covid 19” pandemic, “Dubai Airports” directs the attention of all passengers and travelers through Dubai airports to the following: - Be aware of the latest travel controls for your travel destination. We encourage travelers to contact the airlines corresponding to their destination in this regard, in order to ensure that they bring all the necessary documents with the required validity date before their arrival at the airport.

We note that the roads leading to the airport may be very crowded at peak times, and we advise taking precautions for that, by heading early. - If you are traveling through Terminal 1, please arrive no later than three hours before your flight. Our passengers through Terminal 3 can avoid queues by checking in up to 24 hours before their departure. We urge travelers to use electronic means and self-service as much as possible for a smooth and easy start to their journeys. During the upcoming peak periods, only passengers with an airline ticket will be able to enter the departure gate. We advise family and people on deposit to stay at home.
