NMC Healthcare, one of the most extensive private healthcare networks in the United Arab Emirates, will be providing free health checks to UAE residents on April 7 in a number of malls and community shopping centers located throughout the country for the purpose of commemorating World Health Day.

Free health checks are part of the National Medical Center's (NMC) mission to make excellent treatment available to the community in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The World Health Organization established 'My health, my right' as the theme for World Health Day in 2024, advocating for everyone's right to quality health services.

Residents can visit the NMC kiosks during the prescribed hours to get a basic health screening. This screening includes testing for blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure, as well as assessments of body mass index (BMI). There is no requirement for appointments.

According to David Hadley, the Chief Executive Officer of NMC Healthcare, "We at NMC Healthcare believe that prevention is a cornerstone of maintaining good health." "We welcome the UAE community to join us on World Health Day at convenient locations across the country to take a proactive approach to their well-being and help prevent health concerns before they start."
