On the occasion of Sheikh Zayed Humanitarian Day, which is celebrated in the United Arab Emirates on the nineteenth day of Ramadan, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai gave away more than 600 pre-loaded Nol cards to families who were struggling financially.

Not only can you use the Nol cards for public transportation, but you can also use them to make necessary purchases at participating retail locations in the emirate.

The RTA provides free services to citizens and expatriates in Dubai during Ramadan.

During the holy month of Ramadan, the RTA offers free services to both citizens and expatriate residents of Dubai.

The distribution of 630 nol cards, according to RTA, is part of their Ramadan initiative, which aims to "carry out various community initiatives directed towards RTA employees, people of determination, families with limited incomes, drivers, and workers to bring them joy and happiness during the spiritual month of Ramadan."

Around the start of this month, the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) launched the 'Modes of Good' program, which is an extended version of the yearly 'Meals on Wheels' initiative. The purpose of this initiative is to distribute 8,000 Iftar meals to public bus drivers, delivery bike riders, truck drivers, and Abra captains. Furthermore, the Ramadan Tent Project, which was a collaboration between RTA and the Beit Al Khair Society, aimed to provide two thousand meals of Iftar to people who were fasting.

During the month of Ramadan, telephone booths are available at the Al Ghubaiba, Union, and Jebel Ali Metro stations. These booths provide commuters with the opportunity to make free international calls to their loved ones who live outside of the country.
