A Golden Visa will be available to all individuals who have served in Dubai for twenty years, including mams of mosques, preachers, muezzins, muftis, and religious researchers.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, has directed the granting of golden residence to the religious luminaries as a mark of appreciation for their lengthy dedication and for the crucial roles they have played in society.

Give a financial reward

In addition, on the day of Eid al-Fitr, they will be rewarded monetarily, keeping with the custom that is observed annually. Through the implementation of this program, Sheikh Hamdan demonstrates his dedication to honoring those individuals who have relentlessly spread the message of tolerance and compassion that is inherent in Islam.

Increasing the salaries of imams and muezzins

In the month of March, Sheikh Hamdan issued an order that increased the pay of imams and muezzins across the city of Dubai. The increase will be applicable to individuals who are employed in mosques that are under the jurisdiction of Dubai's Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department.

The imams are the religious leaders who direct the followers of Islam to live their lives in accordance with the ideals of Islam. Those who are authorized to announce the call to prayer are known as muezzins.

In addition, the rise in remuneration acknowledges the commitment that preachers have with regard to the management of religious matters and the promotion of positive societal norms.

Receive a monthly financial allowance

All members of the mosque staff, including imams and muezzins who are employed by the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE), were to receive a monthly financial allowance that was equivalent to fifty percent of their base wage. This directive had been issued by the President.

By taking this action, the President is expressing his gratitude to the imams of mosques and muezzins, who work tirelessly to maintain an atmosphere that is conducive to worship and tranquility while adhering to the greatest standards of excellence.
