UAE: Nine Pakistani Nationals injured in Ajman Factory Fire, rushed to hospital

Nine people were hurt in a fire that broke out in Ajman, and the victims were all Pakistanis. Many hospitals in the United Arab Emirates took in the casualties, who were originally from the regions of Sindh and Punjab.

Second Fire Incident Involving Pakistani Nationals

According to the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai, the fire broke out late on February 24 at a facility dealing with sanitizers, perfumes, and related chemical products. The injured were swiftly transported to different hospitals for medical attention.

Initially, four individuals were taken to Khalifa bin Zayed Hospital in Ajman. Among them were Gul Dad, Nawab Nawaz, and Imam Bux Solangi from Nawabshah (Sindh), and Mohammed Akram from Dera Ghazi Khan (Punjab). Later, Nawab Nawaz and Imam Bux were transferred to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Abu Dhabi, while Mohammed Akram was relocated to Khalifa Hospital, Abu Dhabi.

Others injured in the incident include Mohammed Ijaz at Zayed Hospital in Sharjah, Shahid Mumtaz and Zahoor Hayat at Kuwait Hospital Sharjah, and Sikandar Abdul Rahim at Al Qassimi Hospital Sharjah. All four victims were from Shaheed Nawabshah, Sindh, Pakistan.

The Consulate General's Welfare Wing is working closely with Al Jurf Police Station, Ajman, to ascertain details of the incident, including the site and additional victim information.

Pakistan's ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, extended prayers for the recovery of the injured and assured full support for affected Pakistanis. The Consulate General in Dubai, represented by Hussain Muhammad, affirmed ongoing assistance efforts and continuous coordination with relevant authorities.

This marks the second fire incident involving Pakistani nationals within a month. In January, Imran Khan and his daughter died in a Sharjah apartment fire, while his wife and two others were hospitalized.
