Fly Jinnah, a budget airline headquartered in Pakistan, has declared the commencement of its maiden international flight from Islamabad to Sharjah, celebrated with a special ceremony at both airports.

The inaugural flight accommodated Fly Jinnah’s top executives, travel agents, representatives from the media, and social media influencers.

Mr. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, along with senior management representatives from Sharjah International Airport and Air Arabia, were among the notable figures who welcomed the aircraft with a traditional water cannon salute upon its arrival at Sharjah International Airport.

In an emailed statement, a spokesperson for Fly Jinnah expressed the significance of the occasion, stating, “Today signifies a remarkable milestone for Fly Jinnah as we embark on our inaugural international flight following a successful year of domestic operations. Sharjah’s strategic location serves as an ideal entry point to the United Arab Emirates due to its proximity to other parts of the country. This move underscores our steadfast commitment to offering our passengers more travel alternatives as we eagerly anticipate expanding our route network to encompass more enticing destinations.”

Fly Jinnah presently operates domestic flights connecting Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta, in addition to the recently launched international route to Sharjah.

Renowned for its convenient and cost-effective service, Fly Jinnah boasts a modern fleet comprising five Airbus A320 aircraft. The airline prioritizes passenger comfort by providing ample seat space in its economy class and offers an onboard dining menu named SkyCafe, featuring an array of snacks, sandwiches, and meals at affordable rates.

Passengers have access to in-flight entertainment through the SkyTime streaming service, enabling them to stream a diverse selection of content directly to their personal devices. Fly Jinnah flight bookings can be made via the airline’s website, call center, or through authorized travel agencies.
