Dubai Roads issues an important decision regarding bus routes during the Eid Al Fitr holiday

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that the Eid Al Fitr long weekend has officially begun, for most UAE residents. If you are among those taking the bus from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, note the route changes.

He decided to prepare roads in Dubai by amending the procedures for bus lines between cities. The changes will apply from today, April 6, until April 14.

Modifying Dubai to Abu Dhabi bus routes during the Eid Al Fitr holiday

  • E100: Instead of departing from Al Ghubaiba Station, it will be redirected to Ibn Battuta Bus Station, heading towards Abu Dhabi.
  • E102: This bus service will operate from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to the popular Musaffah station in Abu Dhabi
  • Other changes may be made to the operating hours of other RTA buses. Passengers are advised to check the S'hail app.

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority explained that residents in Dubai can find the times of marine transportation, including water taxis, the Dubai Ferry, and abras, on the Roads and Transport Authority’s application.

It is worth noting that the Roads and Transport Authority had announced earlier that Dubai Metro passengers no longer need to change trains at Jebel Ali Station with the start of operation of the new Y interchange.

Earlier this week, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) made the announcement that the Dubai Metro will be introducing a new route for the Red Line. This is a development that will come as a relief to a great number of commuters.

When Kurt Servalles, a resident of Dubai, rides the train from Ibn Battuta Station to Sobha Estate Station on a daily basis, he is required to make a stop at Jebel Ali, which is only one stop away from the station where he boards the train.

Because of the new Y-junction, this annoyance will no longer exist. In the past, every single train on the Red Line that originated at Centrepoint Station made its way directly to Expo 2020 Station, going via stops such as The Gardens, Discovery Gardens, Jumeirah Golf Estates, and Al Furjan.
