Fujairah police have taken many drivers into custody after an accident caused by careless driving and illegal racing on a public road.
Those drivers put themselves and everyone else on the road in danger in their careless chase in the Al Sodah area. Because of the carelessness, one car lost control, went off the road, spun around, and crashed into a rail barrier.
After receiving reports of the incident, the Fujairah Police General Command swiftly launched an investigation into the matter. The Traffic and Patrol Administration closely examined surveillance footage to identify the drivers involved in the reckless racing. Through the footage analysis, authorities were able to ascertain the sequence of events leading up to the accident and determine the individuals responsible for the violation of traffic laws.
Following the identification of the perpetrators, law enforcement officers promptly tracked them down and made arrests. The quick action taken by the police led to the apprehension of those involved in illegal racing and reckless driving. General Muhammad Ahmed bin Ghanem Al Kabi confirmed the pursuit of necessary legal measures against the offenders. They will be referred to the public prosecutor's office to face appropriate legal action for their actions on the road.
